A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Thank you for taking time to visit our website. We have been available online since 2000 and make it a priority to invest in technology and the latest resources to provide state of the art services for our customers. I hope that you find the pictures, information and resources valuable. I started this business in 1998 after spending 10 years in the corporate world as a business consultant. During those years, I met and consulted hundreds of executives from a variety of businesses. As I met their people, their customers, analyzed their operations and ultimately offered recommendations, the common denominator of successful businesses seemed to revolve around PASSION. Those owners who were passionate about delivering a great product, at a great price, in a great way seemed to always stand out above the rest. During this period, I reflected on the things I was passionate about. As a teenager, I spent 4 years running a small landscape business in the Bay Area of California. I loved being my own boss, satisfying clients, and transforming patches of dirt and weeds into something beautiful. These memories and experiences began to dominate my thinking and stir my emotions. Maybe it was time to leave the corporate world, use the knowledge and skills I had acquired, and do something that I loved! I decided that if I was going to start landscaping again, I wanted to let my passion for landscaping be the driving force in all we did. I wanted to love what I did and wake up each day full of excitement! I wanted our name to reflect our commitment to excellence- providing a great product/service, at a great price, in a great way. That desire and vision were the start of Platinum Landscape & Design LLC. Over the years, our business and capabilities have evolved. We are a full service firm with the ability to service residential and commercial clients in all aspects of landscaping. We have won many awards and our work has graced the covers of several Utah magazines. We were even featured in People Magazine. After years of transforming piles of dirt and weeds into beautiful landscapes, my passion is stronger than ever. I love my job! I love our clients! I love the opportunity that I have to create beautiful scenery, integrating the unique architectural requirements, natural terrain, and client requests into something that current and future generations will benefit from. The work that we perform is enduring! When done properly, it blesses people by allowing them to experience the sites, sounds and smells of nature right out their door.
